RESPONSIBLE, LEGAL GAMBLING

In order to gamble responsibly, it is important to keep in mind that practically all gambling, from the player's viewpoint, is just another form of entertainment that is normally very affordable when approached with realistic expectations and a clear head.

Vidpoker.com does not condone the use of it's content information for illegal purposes. All site visitors are advised to make themselves especially aware of the gambling laws that are applicable in their individual jurisdictions* and to gamble responsibly.

* Residents of certain states need to be fully aware of state laws on the books that apply to online gambling. The states with these special laws are: Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Special Notice to U.S. Online Players

October 13, 2006, President George W. Bush signed the "Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006" into law. The new law makes it illegal for internet gambling websites to accept wagers from residents of the United States and also for financial services to participate in the transfer of funds from Americans to the unlawful internet gambling sites. This includes internet casinos, online poker, sportsbooks, and all other types of internet wagering except, strangely enough, online horserace betting. The gambling bill was "back-doored" and included with the totally unrelated "Safe Port Act of 2006"*.
